Yun is investigating atmospheric ammonia concentrations using an open-path sensors (OPALS) on a NASA DC-8, with the most recent campaign (Winter/Spring 2024) having surveyed countries in Asia (Asia-AQ). 

She would like to use her research to influence policies to improve air quality.
