Prospective Ph.D. students
Our group always looks forward to having talented new members. Due to the nature of field work, our research is extensively collaborative. We look for team players who are comfortable and active in this environment. Communication is a big part of every stage of our research and thus strong verbal and writing skills are required.
If you are interested in joining our group, we highly recommend reaching out to the PI before the application cycle for potential project opportunities. Group members are also happy to talk to prospective students.
Princeton’s Graduate School receives applications and admits students. Please refer to its website for more information on policies, the application package, and deadlines. Past graduate students in our group have come from a variety of disciplines and have strong quantitative coursework and expertise in the fields of engineering, atmospheric science, chemistry, or physics in most cases.
Postdocs
Postdoctoral opportunities occur intermittently. Depending upon the project, expertise is needed in areas ranging from laser-based detection schemes in the mid-infrared to instrument development to atmospheric field projects to analyses of atmospheric datasets in concert with other in-situ measurements, model products, and remote sensing measurements. Opportunities will be posted on Princeton’s Human Resources page.
Undergraduate researchers during Summer
Princeton students can look to the HMEI summer internships and opportunities with the Office of Undergraduate Research, while outside students can look for opportunities in Princeton's REU programs at Princeton REUs.
Diversity and Inclusion
Our group is committed to a demographically, culturally and individually diverse environment. We believe that diversity of all kinds makes for a stronger group and encourage all to apply.
