Dan's research focuses on the emissions of trace gases relevant to climate change (e.g. CH₄, N₂O) and air quality (e.g. NH₃) from the agriculture and waste sectors. He employs a range of methods (i.e. mobile sensing, satellite) to quantify the variability of these emissions in time and between sites.
