Eric is an active-duty Captain in the United States Army. As an infantry officer, he has served in Georgia, Italy, Virginia, and Colorado. He has one deployment to Beirut, Lebanon in 2020 with the 173rd Airborne Infantry Brigade. Most recently, he commanded a Stryker Infantry Company of 150 soldiers in Fort Carson, Colorado. After his time at Princeton, he will continue serving by instructing undergraduate civil engineering at West Point. 

He is originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania. He owns a home with his fiancé Madison in Ewing, New Jersey. His hobbies include marathon and triathlon racing, golf, pool, and reading.
